Keep Up With Continuing Pro-Life News

Co-director of Everett 40 Days for Life, yours truly, continues to post regularly at Life of the Party, on presidential candidates and their positions and records on life. Once the local Washington races get going for 2008, you'll find more to come on those.

Also, the Gospel of Life Institute is an excellent source for up to date, pro-life news and events.

Posting will most likely be light here for a while until we get closer to Fall of 2008, when we will hold our second 40 Days for Life campaign. Meanwhile, keep up the great fight for the cause. We believe 2008 will be a phenominal year for the pro-life movement and that we are embarking on the next phase of the end of abortion.

Prayer Works, Politics is Jaded

It took me a while before it finally got through, but it did.
That's what 40 days of prayer and fasting will do.

Washington State Pro-Lifers Determined to End Abortion

Last night, David Bereit, the national director of 40 Days for Life, addressed the large crowd gathered from all over Washington, including leaders of all 4 Washington locations where 40 Days for Life campaigns are being held and where David visited earlier in the day (Everett, Olympia, Seattle and Tacoma). In today's daily campaign update and devotional, which is received by thousands of 40 Days for Life participants across the nation, David recounts the enthusiasm and determination of Washington State pro-lifers:

Today, record numbers of believers across our nation are taking to the
streets, holding coordinated prayer vigils outside of Planned Parenthood
centers and other abortion facilities. Tomorrow, the 40 Days for Life
campaign draws to a close, with events and celebrations in many
cities.

So, where do we go from here?

The abortion industry believes that we are going to simply fade
away.

They fully expect us to settle back into complacency, leaving them
free to continue their deadly business without hindrance.

Last night I spoke to a large gathering of enthusiastic 40 Days for Life
participants from across the state of Washington in their capital, Olympia,
and I addressed that exact question. The intensity in the room was
electrifying. I want you to take a few minutes -- right now, or before
40 Days for Life ends tomorrow -- to listen to the audio recording of that
event in its entirety:

Pictures Don't Lie

The latest lies from Planned Parenthood claim that our 40 Days for Life campaign has brought out only two or three people, once a week. But what do you expect from a multi-million dollar corporation that makes money off of killing children? These pictures show only some of the people who've been out to pray in front of Planned Parenthood.

You can also spot a few of their supporters who are too ashamed to show their face with their "We 'heart' Planned Parenthood" signs, the foul mouthed, Satan worshipping supporter and customer who taunted us with his friends, and a look at the pro-choice graffiti on our banner displayed at a nearby church.
